About Me

I am a jovial and cheerful person, who always had a thought that cooking needed some eighth sense, I would always enter my mother’s kitchen just for inspecting what she had cooked but when I got married and being all by myself in the far away land trying to dovetail cooking while my husband being a testbed for my culinary skills, I took cooking as an experiment and started trying simple things.

Being from south India rice is a staple how far we go even to moon, every thing started with making perfectly cooked rice, and sambar. Thanks to Skype and my mom for hand holding again similar to my childhood. As I grew up in cooking, started trying out different dishes thanks to goggle for helping me with ample recipes πŸ™‚ Making my favorite dishes at home which used to be my demand to my mom has now become my passionate past time. One year into cooking, I started sharing my recipes with my mom and relatives, my dad who stood by me always became a critic and hence my journey and no turning back from there on.

Looking at my interest in cooking,my lovely husband suggested me to write all my experiments and recipes in a blog so that it would be useful to everyone (he knows the pain because he moved out for studying and had to scramble for recipes and good food). So here I am keying my recipes in this blog.

Please try out my recipes and let me know your comments, lets improvise together.
